A simple beach cottage available for rent for short term stays and holidays.

Takaungu Beach cottage has one triple bedroom (a double bed and a single bed) and 2 double bedrooms which are on the roof and covered. There is 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, basin and bidet.

There is no electricity, no fridge but there is a cool box and ice packs are easily available in the village at KShs10 each and can be brought in daily by the resident caretaker. With no power there is no hot water (you don't need it!)

The caretaker/askari lives on site with his wife and 3 children.

This is an unbeatable beach location, away from the crowds and lights. Don't expect night life and discos.

Kids love it. As do adults. Takaungu beach is a lovely swimming beach at both high and low tide.

1km from Takaungu village. 5km from main Mombasa Road. 20 mins drive from Kilifi.
