"African Birthrite" is 4.7 feet tall and weighs about 56 kgs.
It is estimated to have been carved mid 1800 (Solid Black Ebony wood). It was sourced from a clan (of traditional midwifly) from Kenyan coast where it was used as a delivery charm.
